Why ISODirectory exists

Finding a reliable ISO consultant in the UK should not be as difficult as it is. As a marketing communications consultant working with UK businesses, I kept encountering the same problem — clients needed ISO certification help but had nowhere credible to look. The only directories available were either international platforms with no local relevance, or outdated lists with no way to verify whether the consultants were legitimate.

No UK-dedicated ISO consultant directory existed. Businesses were relying on Google searches, word of mouth, and foreign platforms to make decisions worth thousands of pounds. I decided to build the resource I wished had existed — a clean, verified, UK-focused directory that makes it straightforward to find the right consultant in your area.

How we verify every consultant

Every consultant listed on ISODirectory goes through a manual verification process before their profile goes live. We check each business against Companies House to confirm the business is registered, active, and matches the information provided. Consultants are also required to submit credential documentation — such as professional indemnity insurance certificates or recognised certifications from bodies like IRCA or CQI — before their listing is approved.

We also offer a UKAS Aligned badge for consultants who work with UK Accreditation Service accredited certification bodies, which is an important signal for enterprise and public sector buyers. No consultant appears on ISODirectory without passing this review. Listings that cannot be verified are not published.

About the founder

ISODirectory was founded by Ayoola Adeyemi, a marketing communications consultant based in the UK. With a background in helping businesses communicate their value and reach the right audiences, Ayoola identified the gap in the UK ISO certification market and built ISODirectory to fill it — combining marketing expertise with a genuine understanding of what UK businesses need when navigating the certification process.

ISODirectory is independently owned and operated. We are not affiliated with any certification body, accreditation service, or ISO consultancy. Our only interest is in making it easier for UK businesses to find verified, local ISO expertise.
